The company opened its doors to customers soon after registration and by June 2014, the company was in full operation. Akron Trading was founded upon realization that there are goods and service supply gaps in the non-specialized retail trade. Armed with their vision and entrepreneurial skills the promoters have diversified their business operations from selling and distributions of hardware materials, PCR & TBR Tires, Manufacturing of Fencing products, and agent for Venus Water Heaters, Hero Bicycles from India. Akron Trading, has been manufacturing premium mild steel wire products in Botswana since 2015, producing wire for local markets mainly. Its manufacturing plant situated in Francistown has been operational since the early 2016's and employs in excess of 25 permanent staff members. Our products conform to national and international specifications and are sold in various cities & towns around Botswana.
